How to access our mental health services?
1. Ask a referral from your doctor
Don’t wait, see your family doctor or a doctor at a walk-in clinic. They will be able to:
- Perform an initial assessment of your mental and physical health
- Prescribe medication and/or see you for regular follow-ups
- Refer you to the appropriate services within the health care network, if needed

3. Contact a clinic that is part of the PEPP if you think that you may be having your first psychotic episode
The PePP clinics (Prevention and Early intervention Program for Psychosis) offer a 2 year follow-up for individuals aged 14 to 35 years old who have experienced a first episode of psychosis and have not been treated with an anti-psychotic medication no more than a year. Every patient benefit from a consistent psychiatric and psychosocial support by a designated psychiatrist and case manager.
There are 2 clinics within the Prevention and Early Intervention Program for Psychosis (PEPP) in the territory. These clinics are for individuals aged 14 to 35.

4. Contact your case worker or healthcare professional
If you are a client of and have a case worker at a community-based organization such as a crisis centre for example, contact that person and talk to them about the situation. They will be able to help you and to refer you to the most suitable services or resources.
