Screening is a confidential, easy and quick way to find out if you have a sexually transmitted and blood-borne infection (STBBI).
People with STBBIs often have no symptoms. This means that they can unknowingly pass the infection on to others. Screening is the only way to find out whether or not someone has an infection, which enables them to receive the appropriate treatment and avoid complications resulting from an untreated infection.
