DEI at Our CIUSSS
Our CIUSSS wants to ensure a human and empathetic environment for everyone we serve, our users, their loved ones, everyone who contributes to fulfilling its mission (employees, suppliers, partners).
Given the very diverse nature of the communities it serves, our CIUSSS is committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), both in terms of its human resource management and the care and services it provides to its users.
Data speak volumes: A diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment is a pleasant work environment that is conducive to innovation, development, and maintaining the highest quality standards (in support of DEI, p. 8-10). That means that DEI supports us in fulfilling our mission, vision and organizational values.
Our Policy
On November 16, 2022, our CIUSSS adopted its policy on DEI and cultural safety. In doing so, the CIUSSS has clearly signalled its desire that we collectively build and maintain a working environment and care settings that are healthy, equitable, and safe that value all people.
