UPDATE : Île-Bizard-Sainte-Geneviève: Heavy Traffic Expected

Update on September 26 : Montreal suspended surveillance of vignettes outside Presidents' Cup operating hours.

The Presidents’ Cup is being held at the Royal Montreal Golf Club in the borough of L’Île-Bizard–Sainte-Geneviève from September 24 to 29, 2024. This may cause changes to your daily travels.

We recommend you plan extra time for any transit in this area. We also recommend that you:

  • relocate any activities planned for those dates
  • reschedule any appointments or activities planned for those dates to avoid complications with access to the island and avoid the area if possible.

Accessing Île-Bizard by car

A traffic filtering system has been set up to limit the number of vehicles on the island during the event and to ensure safety. A special configuration has been set up for traffic on and around the Pont Jacques-Bizard.

To cross the bridge, vehicles will have to go to the filtering zone, located on eastbound Boulevard de Pierrefonds between Rue Hamel and Boulevard Jacques-Bizard.

More information for Île Bizard residents and public transit users is available on the Ville de Montréal website.
