On September 20 and 21, the CIUSSS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal’s Support for Elderly Autonomy Program Directorate hosted Open House events at the Grace Dart Extended Care Centre and Ste. Anne’s Hospital. The goal was to attract future interns to the eight long-term care centres throughout its territory.
There were a variety of professionals on hand to provide useful information and answer questions for students from various Montréal-area CEGEPs and universities. The discussions provided helpful information on nursing care, physiotherapy, social work, occupational therapy, and other fields.
Thank you to everyone at the CIUSSS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal who contributed to the success of this initiative intended to support the well-being of vulnerable seniors.
