Simulated Surveys

Accreditation, a process that assesses health and social services institutions such as our CIUSSS to determine what is working well and what needs to be improved, is set to take place from February 5 to 9, 2023.

A number of teams from physical health, general services and telehealth have been working diligently to ensure compliance with the standards set by Accreditation Canada, keeping quality and safety top of mind. As we all know, better quality means better health. That said, to prepare staff for the accreditation process, simulated surveys are scheduled for early 2023 (the exact dates will be announced shortly). 

Simulated surveys use tracer methodology which is used during the actual survey to assess key sectors and verify whether the standards are met. Let’s continue to showcase the quality of our care and services!
