The 4th RUISSS McGill Lung Cancer Network Conference was held on November 29 at St. Mary’s Hospital Centre. The goal of this event, which drew together a wide range of experts, researchers, clinicians and partners, was to strengthen partnerships and build an even stronger network committed to ensuring equitable access to health care. The conference was an opportunity to meet and to share innovative solutions, improve access to care for all and, ultimately, save lives.
Those in attendance were able to take part in a number of inspiring presentations and productive discussions that attest to the network’s commitment and innovation. From basic research and clinical protocols, to innovations aimed at improving access and patient support initiatives, each and every perspective broadens our understanding and informs our actions.
This conference underscored the ongoing collaboration between the various stakeholders as they strive to make advances, to innovate and to work towards a future where those affected by lung cancer can hope for a more humane and effective care trajectory.
