The scouting network team at our CIUSSS held a community awareness blitz as part of Mental Health Week.
To start with, the Scouting Network set up a booth at Cégep André-Laurendeau on May 10, the day on which the Student Mental Health Station (Station SME) was launched. Some 75 individuals, the majority of which were students and teachers, dropped by the booth.
Then, another booth was set up on Saturday, May 11, as part of the Community Perspective in Mental Health (CPMH) hockey tournament, which was aimed at raising awareness about mental health. As a result, more than 200 people were able to receive helpful advice at the booth.
