Emergency Department

New modular Emergency Department opens May 15

The CIUSSS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal has installed a modular building at the Lakeshore General Hospital so that it can temporarily relocate the Emergency Department.

The new modular Emergency Department provides a modern environment that meets existing standards, is easier access, and ensures a safer environment in which to provide the community with a better quality of care and services.

The new Emergency Department opens to the public on May 15, 2024.
