New WALK-IN CLINICS for measles vaccination!

In response to the growing demand for measles vaccination and an increased number of measles cases in the Montréal area, the CIUSSS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal is pleased to announce the opening of two walk-in vaccination clinics. Vaccination teams will be on site to vaccinate community members at the CLSC de LaSalleand theCLSC de Pierrefonds.

CLSC

Atthe CLSC de Pierrefonds, vaccinations will be available to individuals aged 7 to 100 years old as of Saturday, March 23. Walk-in vaccinations will be available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

At theCLSC de LaSalle, measles vaccinations will be available to young people aged 7 to 17 years old without an appointment as of March 26. Walk-in vaccinations will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

At both locations, users will be asked to bring their vaccination booklets with them.

Local service points

The local service points in Kirkland and Lachinewill also be extending their opening hours as of March 30. They will also be providing measles vaccinations without an appointment. Should you wish to book an appointment, you can so do on Clic SantéPlease note that the local service points will be closed on March 29th, April 1st and on May 20th.

Community pharmacies

Several community pharmacies will also be providing measles vaccinations. Check the Clic Santé site for the list of pharmacies at which you can get this vaccination.
