Did you know that community organizers collaborate with our colleagues from several CIUSSS departments and work in the community to help find solutions to social injustices? Focusing on social inequalities was a natural choice, given that we are facing an array of social challenges, including the housing crisis, homelessness, the environment, proper nutrition, and access to healthcare.
Community Organization Week is an opportunity to remind community organizations and our partners that you can contact a community organizer to ask for their participation or contribution to the fight against social injustices and other issues. That way we can better harmonize the services available to people in need.
