The vaccination campaign against respiratory viruses is set to begin on October 16, 2024.
The flu vaccine is offered free of charge to everyone aged 6 months or older.
The 2024-2025 vaccination campaign is important for the following individuals:
- People aged 60 years and over;
- People living in long-term care homes CHSLDs or RPAs and other congregate living settings with a high proportion of elderly and vulnerable people;
- People who are immunocompromised or on dialysis;
- People living with a chronic disease (heart, lung, diabetes, severe obesity, etc.);
- Pregnant women;
- People living in the same household or caregivers of the above-mentioned groups;
- People living in remote or isolated areas;
- Healthcare workers.
