The Montréal West Island Integrated University Health and Social Services Centre is happy to announce that as of September 11, a walk-in COVID-19 community mobile testing site will be available at the Gerry-Robertson community Centre in the Borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro. This service offering is in addition to the multiple initiatives our institution has implemented since the beginning of the pandemic to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our communities.
Address of the community mobile testing site:
Gerry-Robertson Community Centre (Pierrefonds-Roxboro)
9665 Gouin Boul. West, Pierrefonds, QC, H8Y 1R4
Opening dates: Friday, September 11, then Saturdays and Sundays
Hours: 10 am to 5 pm
This mobile site, with a capacity of 200 tests per day, has been mandated to carry out mass testing of the population free of charge. If you want to be tested, come meet with our nurse on site. The results will be available in a few days; you will be informed by email if the result is negative and by telephone if the result is positive.
The selected location will make screening more accessible to people closer to home and is easily accessible by public transit. It is important to bring your health insurance card and driver’s license, if available.
We wish to remind you that regular handwashing with soap and water for 20 seconds remains the most effective hygiene measure for preventing the spread of all infections.
The Montréal West Island IUHSSC thanks the Borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro for its collaboration on this project.
