World Breastfeeding Week 2019

From September 30 to October 4, 2019, the Youth Program Directorate of the Montréal West Island Integrated University Health and Social Services Centre (IUHSSC) will hold a series of events to mark World Breastfeeding Week. This year’s edition is held under the theme Empower Parents, Enable Breastfeeding. The slogan was chosen to be inclusive of all types of parents in today’s world. Focusing on supporting mothers and those around them is vital in order to achieve their breastfeeding goals. 

On October 2, our breastfeeding experts will hold information sessions at the following facilities: 

At the cafeteria from 11 am to 1:30 pm

  • Hôpital de LaSalle
  • Lakeshore General Hospital
  • St. Mary’s Hospital Center

From 8 to 9 am, and from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm

  • CLSC du Lac-Saint-Louis 
  • CLSC de Pierrefonds
  • CLSC de Dorval-Lachine
  • CLSC de LaSalle
