World Breastfeeding Week 2018: Foundation for Life

From October 1 to October 5, 2018, the Youth Program Directorate of the Montréal West Island Integrated University Health and Social Services Centre (IUHSSC) will hold a series of events to underline World Breastfeeding Week and its theme, Breastfeeding: Foundation for Life. The four main objectives of these events are:

  1. Inform people about the links between good nutrition, food security, poverty reduction, and breastfeeding
  2. Anchor breastfeeding as the foundation of life
  3. Engage with individuals and organizations for greater impact
