The Montréal West Island Integrated University Health and Social Services Centre is pleased to inform you that it will be opening a walk-in COVID-19 testing clinic as of, October 19, 2020, at the Ex-Hôpital général de Lachine. This clinic is in addition to the multiple initiatives our institution has implemented since the beginning of the pandemic to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the population.
Address of the Testing Clinic:
Ex-Hôpital général de Lachine
3320 Notre-Dame Street, Lachine, H8T 1W8
The entrance to the testing clinic is located at the back of the building, accessible via Dawes St. An access ramp for people with limited mobility is accessible via the entrance on Notre-Dame St.
Monday to Sunday
10 am to 5 pm
This clinic, with a capacity of 270 tests per day, has been mandated to provide mass testing of the population, free of charge. If you would like to be tested, come meet with our nurse on site. Results will be available within a few days, and communicated by email if the result is negative and by telephone if the result is positive.
The selected location will make screening more accessible to people closer to home and is easily accessible by public transit. When you come for testing, it is important to have your health insurance card and driver’s licence with you, if available.
We wish to remind you that regular handwashing with soap and water for 20 seconds remains the most effective hygiene measure for preventing the spread of all infections.
