COVID-19 - Prenatal and Delivery Follow-Ups

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, exceptional measures are being put in place to ensure the safety of users and staff.

Rest assured that we will continue to provide you with prenatal follow-ups as prescribed by your health care provider. However, please note that women who are pregnant must attend their follow-up appointments alone, regardless of whether they are at a hospital, a clinic or an office. No spouses, companions or children are allowed.

At the time of delivery and during your stay in hospital, only the second parent or a significant person will be admitted, as long as that person does not present any risk of COVID-19 infection. Measures are also in place if your newborn is admitted to the neonatal unit. Please note that confinement measures are in effect in all rooms on all units throughout our establishments and visitors are not allowed

We are well aware that these measures are upsetting your usual habits as well as your pregnancy follow-ups and birthing plan.  However, these measures have been implemented to ensure your well-being, that of your newborn, and the safety of all.
