On Friday, November 17, the Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal (CIUSSS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal - Montréal West Island Integrated University Health and Social Services Centre) held its second annual public information session of the Board of Directors under the theme 2 Years: Building the Connection We Share.
Community partners, citizens and employees of the organization gathered to discuss priority projects for the community and to hear about:
- An overview from the Board of Directors
- The highlights of the past year
- The project involving citizens in assessing the quality of services, conducted in collaboration with the Regroupement provincial des comités des usagers (RPCU)
- Continuous improvements in care and services offered by the IUHSSC
In addition, four partners of the Montréal West Island IUHSSC, namely the borough of Lachine, the Cumulus organization, John Abbott College, and Nutri-Centre Lasalle, presented inspiring examples of health-promoting partnerships.
